CWorks Systems expects revenue to surpass RM3.5m 06 June, 2006 Kuala Lumpur: Top local Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) company, CWorks Systems Bhd, expects its current financial year revenue to increase substantially and surpass last year's figure of RM3.5 million. Its chief executive officer, Abdul Rani Achmed said the good performance for the company was based on its tie-up with OMCS Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd Monday, the launch of its CWorks NETMain as well as some overseas and domestic projects. "CWorks is already marketing our current range of products to 66 countries and Monday's signing with OMCS as well as with the introduction of our new product, it will enable us to further increase our market reach and access into other markets globally," he said after the company's signing ceremony and product launch here, Monday. OMCS is a global provider of reliability assurance solutions. The event was witnessed by Deputy Finance Minister, Datuk Dr Awang Adek Hussin. Through the partnership, both the parties will combine their respective global market reach and cross sell their products. "Thus, going forward, we are aiming to have a strong overseas contribution to the company's bottomline in near future," Abdul Rani said. He said the company aimed to boost its overseas contribution to more than 30 percent beginning next year. On the local front, he said the company has already secured contracts to provide its web based products to several companies including Putrajaya Holdings, Universiti Utara Malaysia and Aliran Bekalan Air Selangor Selatan. He said it was also working on a pilot project, an asset management system with the Ministry of Finance. "We are also in the midst of implementing projects in the South China Sea, the United States (U.S), China, Libya, Singapore and Indonesia," he said. He, however, did not disclose any details on the said projects. CWorks NETmain's enhanced enterprise features range from asset management, preventive maintenance work management, scheduled work a nd material management encompassing management of procurement and stores on spare parts and consumables. It can be purchased and installed fully in-house for a one time free or housed on CWorks serves in Malaysia or the US on a monthly subscription basis. Other products in CMMS are CWorks Free, CWorks Pro, CWorks Plus, CWorks SQL and CWorks Online.- Bernama
